Complete renovation and decoration of an apartment

This light-filled canal apartment needed a complete makeover.

The plan, which was not very functional, was tailored to the lifestyles of the future occupant.

 

We were ask to remodel and re-design the 38 square meters studio. It is small but very airy and bright. The concept was to change the existing ‘structure’ of the apartment; removing any unnecessary parts. The bathroom and storage were moved to the second floor.

The new room has a minimalist dark kitchen and table. The furniture had clean lines with a smooth and sleek surface. The white walls creates the impression of a larger space.

The 3 big windows also contribute to that image. The new half wall provides the intimacy and privacy that everyone wants, and a new working space.
